My god, Marty's losing his mind. First of all, it's not going to take the AFC pro-bowl squad to beat the Rams. They're defense is vulnerable, and Warner DOES make mistakes. A few inches this way or that, and the Rams would have losses to BOTH the 3-3 Broncos and the 2-4 Seahawks.
The Bucs and Titans both held them from scoring last year in the playoffs. And I'm sure the Ravens and Dolphins defense could hold they're own. All it's going to take is ONE GAME from a defense that gives up only a few more points than those two, and puts up as many points as the two in the 1st paragraph. (READ: the KC Chiefs!) The Redskins, Vikings, Chiefs, Panthers, Ravens, Titans, and Jets are all capable of beating the Rams. Second, where did he come up with THAT roster? He's gonna play a 3-4 against the RAMS? I'd match up like this: DE Michael McCrary DE Hugh Douglas DT Warren Sapp DT La'Roi Glover Synopsis: These guys are the ONLY ones that will rush. Speed is the key. LB: Zach Thomas LB: Ray Lewis Synopsis: Thomas will shadow Faulk. Lewis handles everything else. CB: Champ Bailey CB: Sam Madison NB: Troy Vincent FS: Darren Sharper SS: John Lynch Synopsis: Speed is important here, as well as blanket coverage. But these guys can also hit. The Rams pretty boy recievers have never been beat up, especially by a good B&R defense. ------------------ Parker ChiefsPlanet Administrator Jimmy Raye for President...anything to get him out of Kansas City More Moreau</I> |
