It's almost like he doesn't want the Chiefs to draft a QB

That's exactly it. You see this shit all the time.

Unsexy teams like Cleveland and Kansas City who have this reputation for mediocrity and only being able to run the ball get the OTs and defensive linemen in the 1st round. It rings like harmony to the writers of these mock drafts because they don't know **** else about these teams, and they sure as **** don't want to do any research.

I think it's a blue collar town stigma that gets attached to them. You never see Miami or San Diego selecting fatties in these mock drafts. GOD ****ING KNOWS Arizona needs offensive line help way the **** more than we do. But who is the team that consistently gets to draft the QB in these scenarios? That's right. Arizona. Not KC. Arizona desperately needs a QB as well. But in this supposedly terrible lineup of QBs this draft, none of them are too high for 8th overall. But at 1 overall? CAN'T DO THAT TAKE THE VALUE PICK!

Well yeah, if the Chiefs ever get good, who will the national media make fun of. In the north east, they think we're all country bumkins simply there to amuse them. You should hear some of the comments I get when I tell one of them that I'm from Kansas. If I hear "well, you're not in Kansas anymore" one more time I may have to kick someone in the nuts

I don't know who the **** Russ Lande is, but he strikes me as this Shawn Zobel-style reerun, a 20-year old who plays fantasy football in his mom's basement and is just waiting for an NFL team to give him a try out.

In the meantime, he wants to see Larry Fitzgerald go off like he did when Warner was his QB. But Kansas City doesn't ****ing matter. He better order his draft in such a way that Arizona gets the top QB (whoever that is in this idiot's eyes) and Kansas City gets a fatty and some 5th or 6th ranked asshole in the later rounds.

The NFP 2012 mock.

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Mock-Draft-70.html

Quote:
11. Kansas City Chiefs: Boston College ILB Luke Kuechly

With the need at offensive tackle addressed in free agency the Chiefs can now look at one of the safest players available in the front seven. Kuechly is a tackling machine with good size, natural instincts and above-average athleticism. Is the kind of talent who can make an impact inside from day one.

The NFP 2010 mock...GOTTA GET THAT LT

Quote:
5. Kansas City Chiefs: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

Until the Chiefs do a better job protecting their quarterback, the offense will continue to struggle. Finding a legitimate left tackle has to be one of the main goals for the Kansas City brass this offseason.

I'm shocked they didn't mock Bryan Bulaga to us as Pioli's "Meat and potatoes lunch pail worker" player

nfp! nfp! nfp! no qb EVAR

Quote:
3. Kansas City Chiefs: Aaron Curry, OLB, Wake Forest

With the trade for QB Matt Cassel, the Chiefs can now sit back and select the best player available. Curry should make an instant impact on the Kansas City defense.

They have already doubled down on dumbass this year.

Quote:
1. Kansas City Chiefs: Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah, Senior:

The Chiefs have many needs, but with no quarterback clearly worth the first overall pick they grab Lotulelei. He will start at defensive end if they continue to play a 34 defense in 2013 or defensive tackle next to Dontari Poe if they switch back to a 43 scheme.
