I can't say I'd be willing to travel nearly 1400 miles without some pretty good tickets in hand.

So I'm looking to go to this game here. I've been looking online and have found what I would guess are some decent prices (I don't know; I've never been to a professional game). Anyway, the ticket prices aren't a big deal, but I'm annoyed by the $30 service and $15 delivery fees tacked on by these online ticket sellers. There seem to be a shit ton of seats available and the Chiefs/Bucs is not a marquee matchup so I feel like it will stay that way. It just seems stupid to pay more than face value for tickets and then pay an additional $45 on top of that.

My question to those of you that have experience in the matter is: should I stop being a little bitch and just take those stupid extra fees or should I try my luck at buying tickets on gameday at the stadium? Are ticket prices generally cheaper at that point or more expensive? If they are more expensive, are they still competitive with the online ticket prices after all the additional fees or much more/much less?

Just go to the stadium on game day. The Yucks are blacked out almost every week here so getting a ticket won't be a problem

I would perhaps be interested in both of these It'll not only be my first Chiefs game, but my first professional football game period so I wouldn't mind seeing what it's ALL about.

Any way you could inquire as to what seats and for how much? I'd appreciate it.

Its also my 45th Birthday lets hope we get a nice win to celebrate!

I was in Tampa bay last yr but it was simply to drive thru to see it on my way to other parts of Florida.
I was on a crazy long bridge looking at the skyline and it looked awesome at night time.
Sorry I cant add much else.

I was stationed there for a year, tons of stuff to do. It's the strip club capita of the world if your into that kind of thing. Lots of bars food and culture. Plenty of beautiful women, I'd say the most I've seen. Hard rock casino is something to check out. Might be a little chili for beach season but st Pete beach is awesome. Ybor city it's kid of like a New Orleans feel. SOHO is college life. Channel side is a good place to go on a Friday night. Anyway those are some places to start. Have a blast!

Okay Chief fans its time to finalize the tailgating logistics. Here is where our Tampa group is going to tailgate. So far Planeteers attending (BRC, Cosmic Pal, DAKCAPman, KC Native)

Lots open 3.5 hours before tailgating. We will tailgate in parking lot 1. It's a first come first serve lot. We will meet in the Parking lot at Champps, We can then drive over together and park/tailgate together. We will meet at 8:45 am in the parking lot. We will leave at 9:00 am for the short drive to the stadium to get in line for lot 1.
