Advantage is clearly to the airborne Saints and Brees' record shattering year vs our some-guy-in-a-Chiefs-uniform secondary. But Thigpen will hurt the Saints and the jury will be coming in on Thigpen as a legit NFL starting QB.
And thats the shit of it, if we didn't have a beat up defense we might stand a chance. Dorsey is beginning to come around and Flowers is a force outside, and then Flowers goes down.

I heard from a friend here that Thigpen has the most fantasy points in the last 2 weeks than any other QB in the NFL...is that right?!?!? Has anyone else heard that??

This.

He has single-handedly saved the Chiefs season. Not win/losses, of course, but from a fans perspective now looking forward to the next game. He has made the Chiefs an exciting team again.

Exactly. We lost the last 3 games by 8 points total. We are a few defensive players being healthy from competing for a division title according to the competition in the league today.

At least some are noticing this, even a local broadcaster said that the Chiefs are a 2 pt conversion, a dropped pass, and a couple bad calls away from being the division leader. Saying "the Chiefs should not be 1-8, they should be 5-4"

I'm assuming he means Pats, Donks, Jets, Bucs, and Chargers. Cause the rest were...well bad.

I don't know if I completely agree with him, but its nice to know that someone in the media doesn't think we are completely inept.

We're not. We could win the AFCW in 2009.

I think it has more to do with the fact that there a lot of QBs who do well for a certain period of time. A season, a stretch of games, whatever, and then for some reason just fall off. I honestly think thiggy's got something special, but am trying not to get too excited about it until he keeps doing it.

I love that we went to the spread, and he will get to build up his confidence while he also gets plays from under center to bolster his experience. It's a win all the way around. I have to give some props to the staff for putting him position to excell.

I like it too, they taylored the offense to his abilities and something clicked.
