Yahoo FF draft pick trades

So this is a relatively new feature in yahoo fantasy leagues, and my question is:

If I make a draft pick trade with team B, giving me their 9th round pick in 2012, and they decide to not renew their team for 2012 will I still get to keep that 9th round pick, or will it go back to default because whoever takes over that opened spot would not have made that trade.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

this is why this feature should never be allowed...nope, not during the season

if you want to trade 2012 picks in a dynasty league it should have to be in the offseason

otherwise you ruin the integrity of the current year...if I have the best team all year and then the 4th place team gets Chris Johnson and Tom Brady from a last place team for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th round pick it's ****ing bullshit

it's a dumb feature that should never be allowed

Man I'm just havin a terrible season, and I'm thinking about doing my own Suck for Luck and just tanking the season by trading away some of my guys for picks in 2012.

But I dont want to make a trade with someone, and then have them not come back next year and my pick be detracted.

I would just like some clarity before I do this.
