Home and Auto Anyone here involved with SCCA Solo Autocross?

Looking to get into autocross now that my ride is set up. Anyone here involved with the SCCA and can give me an idea of what to expect?

I'm going to be taking a course through Evolution Performance Driving School in April but I would like to get in on some solo autocross events to get the jitters out and get a little more comfy with the format.

Is there a place to go practice without fear of 5-0?

I've got the Wichita area SCCA web addy... I was hoping more for personal anecdotes or suggestions.

BTW, the wichita site looks like ASS.

I would like to do some Rally racing with them as well. Looks like a good time.

I did some auto cross out in Virginia when I was stationed there. Noting in the kc area though. It was fun. Wouldn't mind getting into it again.
