Yeah, that's exactly what I said. I stated, very clearly, that the next school he goes to would have to have a passionate fan base. UM doesn't quite fit that bill.

It's the one job we all hoped wouldn't open. All this talk of loyalty is horseshit. It's where he as roots. It's an attractive job from that angle. And he could probably recruit the players there to compete and be a solid 3rd place team.

There is basically zero chance FM leaves KSU for Miami... ZERO ****ing chance...

All he has to do at KSU is stay competitive, Finish 4th or better, beat KU once every few years and he will be a legend...

So why leave?

Yup. We all knew he wasn't going anywhere but Miami, and it's open now. Just had hoped that it'd be another year or so.

I think that's way overstated.

That said, everyone that says he won't leave out of loyalty are kidding themselves. Not that he isn't a loyal guy, but his #1 loyalty is to his family (as it should be). If he feels his family would be in a better place by going to Miami, he'll give it strong consideration. If not, he'll stay. I think it's that simple.

Yeah, loyalty to his home is probably higher on his list than loyalty to Manhattan.

I'm not buying that argument, I'm more hoping for the $ to be off, the program in shambles to be unattractive, the AD not hired to be an issue, and the stagnant fanbase to be an issue.

Counter-arguments for those:
-$ - There's plenty of people down there who can donate. Plenty.
- Program in shambles - He can fix it and be the hero
- No AD - He can hand pick his own AD
- Stagnant Fanbase - He can win and fix that

I also think its easy to recruit there, as well.

I'm not feeling so good about this.
