Because Cunningham has been so inconsistent since taking over for the injured John Kasay -- he's made 5-of-7 field goals -- they decided not to let him try the 47-yard field goal and instead went for the first down. <--- from ESPN Of course the 4th down attempt failed, causing Carolina to lose to the SORRY Cowgirls.

Stoy is 2 for 4. His 2 misses having been from inside 40 yards. Pull the ****ing trigger, Stock & Gun. Pete is making you look bad. It could be any week that we find ourselves in the same situation Carolina did. I'm convinced the Titan loss would have been MUCH different had Pete converted and we wouldn't have had to play "comeback" vs. Seattle had he made his chip-shot. Both misses have been so severly shanked that they never had a chance and it was clear they were wide left as soon as the ball left his foot.

they cut him because the Panther organization thinks its unacceptable to lose games because A guy with 1 job, isn't getting it done...

If your job is to cook fries at McDonalds for $5/hour, and you can't remember how to cook fries, and customers are disappointed...they replace you with a retired person, or someone with Downsyndrome.

Can some of our Colorado connections persuade Coors to offer a commercial spot to Pete for being an "original"? Then the NFL would HAVE to give him the boot for endorcing alcohol!!! I love it.

I was thinking more about that Schwab commercial with all the retired athletes. You know, the one that talks about how "quickly" retirement can catch up with you. [img]http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/wink.gif[/img]
