The Chiefs better not win another game!

Since we can't play for Jan, we might as well play for April. We might as well try to get the best draft position. Think about it, we DON"T want to be 2 or 3 draft slots from a can't miss player that we so desperately need. I say shoot for number 1, you could usually drop down a couple slots and pick up the best DE, LB or CB, or even the best WR if you dare, since there might be a couple QB's go just like last years draft.
I will be so mad if we go 7-9 and end up drafting #15. Usually there are only a small handfull of can't miss players, if we can't go to the playoffs then why not? I was a Chiefs fan through the eighties so I know what them losing is like. I watched them then, and I will continue to watch them now. But we need some impact players on defense! This may be the only way to get them. Go Chiefs, hope you lose!

We'll end up going 8-8 with a bad draft pick. That's our luck.

What's the point of playing for April? Does anybody really expect Carl to make a draft pick that won't be horrible? He'll probably trade down and draft a running back that was projected for the 4th round. (Assuming there aren't any 6th-round caliber tight ends still on the board.)

Same here. I can never root for them to lose no matter what...especially with as many divisional matchups comming up. A high draft pick would be nice and if we get it, so be it. Also if we have a horrid remainder of the year it doesnt help the chances of Priest being back next year at all.

As others have stated, I cannot root for the Chiefs to lose. I can poke fun at our crappy season thus far, I can gnash my teeth, curse, drink, throw things, not speak, hold my breath, hate the world, but if the Chiefs are playing I'm cheering for a victory. Every single game.
