Holy...
This would be just an absolutely stupid mistake. Just an absolutely stupid mistake. This is shit we've got to let him play through for a down season so we can figure out what's going on. I would hate that signing. |

Gave up way to early on Medlock if true. His mechanics could have been fixed. Maybe PS.

To take it up with a kicker though would be assinine. Especially if somebody else scoops Medlock up on waivers and he becomes an elite kicker in 2 years, which isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility. |

This better be false. Or if it's true, we somehow kept Medlock on the roster. Or something.
I'm not happy with him, he makes me nervous. But after investing a draft pick in a kicker, I'll be damned if we piss it away after one game. |

Per Rotoworld.com
Justin Medlock-K-Chiefs Sep. 10 - 12:54 pm et Chiefs waived K Justin Medlock. The fifth-round pick looked to have a bright future coming in afer a highly accurate career at UCLA, but he lacked confidence with Kansas City. Dave Rayner-K-Chiefs Sep. 10 - 12:53 pm et NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Chiefs have reached an agreement with K Dave Rayner. Kansas City was supportive of rookie Justin Medlock until he shanked a 30-yarder against Houston in Week 1. Rayner won't be a fantasy option on a poor offense, but figures to be an immediate upgrade for the Chiefs. |

When you get to the NFL, all kickers are physically elite. It's the mental aspect that separates the winners from losers. You've got to give him time to see if he can work through this. |
