Who else is loosing weight????


I am an ex-athlete / current fat ass.

After shredding my knee in the Army, I just never bothered to work out again. Well.... I'm getting older now and its gonna start getting harder to loose weight so now that my knee is mended (for the most part), it seems like now would be as good of a time as any to start loosing weight. no?

My goal is to get below my enlisting weight of 232.

Starting Weight: 320lb
Target Weight: 230lb

Cathy and I purchased a membership to a gym that reminds me of Average Joes from that movie Dodge Ball. $480 for the both of us... for the entire year and they are open 24/7.

We have been going every day since we purchased our gym membership and so far so good. Just have to keep motivated.

Good luck, man. I never let myself see the north side of 280, but I was damn close. I'm sitting at 229 now, and my goal weight is 200. The bitch of it all is that I'm sitting at 13% body fat. I have no clue how I'm going to see 200, but that's what my doc says that I need to be at. Something tells me I'll never see it on my steady diet of Sam Adams Winter Lager and supplement shakes.

Fell off the non-smoking wagon. Got back on and fell off the diet wagon. I'll worry about "loosing" weight after I've got at least 6 months without a smoke (day 16 today).
