I don't think anyone is putting all their eggs in the Flacco basket - people are just saying that Denver isn't playing Jacksonville. |

the Ravens LONE shot in this game is to get up 7-0. If the Broncos score, in any fashion, first...the game is going to be a blowout. Please, bookmark this post. |

if you REALLY want to see Peyton and Denver lose, and I know you all do, wait until next week where there is at least a viable chance.

other than weather
I want to hear some of the reasons why you think Denver, who completely represents the worst possible matchup for the Ravens, can lose this game. please please entertain me |

Hootie, you act like you've never seen an NFL playoff game before. Hopefully you didn't bet toooo much on this one bud.

Easiest money in the world. If you tease Manning/Brady together alone every week you're a huge winner EVERY SINGLE YEAR. That's the only bet I made today. Oh, and I have seen playoff football before. I was laughing at everyone last year when they were 'game over'ing' the Steelers when they fell down by like 17 to Tim Tebow and assured everyone it was FAR from over. This game? It's over right now. Broncos represent a TERRIBLE matchup for the Ravens. Just like the Patriots represent a TERRIBLE matchup for the Texans. |

I do have the 49ers over the Packers, but it's not a stone cold lock and I'd never bet it. Rodgers one weakness (and the reason why he's #3 in my QB power rankings) is holding the ball too long, taking way too many sacks. The 49ers get to the passer. Kaepernick is also vastly underrated. I have them 31-23.

Not without the other Smith being a 100% they don't. The one saving grace for the 49ers today is that they are at home that somewhat offsets Smith not being 100%. I get your point about Rodgers, but he won't hold on to the ball long today I guarantee it and you will see a lot of quick underneath routes to Cobb to soften the D to set up the run to some degree but more importantly the deep ball.

Hootie, Who you got between ATL-SEA? Alot of people like Seattle, but I think Ryan finally wins a playoff game.

another game I wouldn't touch with a 50 foot pole personally? I'll take the Falcons. Home game. The Seahawks were going to lose last week sans the injury. I think they are becoming so trendy that people are overrating them at this point. But I sure do like Russel Wilson. |

There is a reason you like Russell Wlson because what you saw last week was 'very real' and not a fluke. They didn't win because of the injury to RGIII and I would disagree that they would have lost had RGIII not gotten hurt. Wilson and the offense didn't blink an eye even being down early on 14-0 in the 1st qrt. By halftime it was 14-13 and the Seattle D had already begain to stifle RGIII in the early going of the 2nd qrt and all the way thru the game even prior to the injuries that day. Seattle's play on both sides of the ball that game had momentum continuingl to build more and more as the game continued even though the score was 14-13 going into the 4th qrt. IMO, Seattle still would have won that game even if RGIII doesn't re-injure himself and he still wasn't 100% to begin with which really hurt them in the long run to win that game.
