Need some help here
I just updated a few things on my laptop from Windows update and now Firefox and IE seem to think I am on a proxy server. Chrome works just fine. I have no idea what just changed or what to look at. I know I can undo the windows updates but there has to be a simpler way than going back and installing updates one by one. If that is even the problem.

found it. Somehow IE ended up getting the proxy checkbox clicked. I know it wasn't me that did it. When I unclicked it in options then both IE and FF started to work again.
but why would it only affect those two browsers and not Chrome?
