Bomb Exploded at Boston Marathon Finish Line
I've heard an unconfirmed report (a co-worker's girlfriend called him) that there was a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, with people injured. I am hearing multiple sirens, though I'm not in the Copley area.

I actually odn't have much time today, but quickly, ehre's what I know (other than the obvious which I see is covered, one guy dead, one on the run):

1. the entire greater Boston public transit system is shut down. Trains, buses, commuter trains, everything.

2. Watertown, which is a very built up suburb very close to Boston, has been locked down, with police prohibiting all traffic (vehicles) and conducting door to door and block by block searches. The scene painted on NPR this morning was very vivid, as one of their employee is in Watertown. Basically, a bunch of guys with camo and assault weapons going door to door, surrounding the house, searching yards, etc. etc.

Un-****ing-believable.
