Fantasy Football Trade Question
I have been set the following trade, and don't know what to think.
I get Peyton Manning, Corey Dillon, and the Jax D He gets Shawn Alexander, Aaron Brooks, and the Seahawks D. Currentlty my team lineup is QB: A. Brooks, Vinnie T (Start 1) RB: Alexander, R. Johnson, M. Bennett, O Smith (Start 2) WR: Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, D Jackson (Start 2) TE: Shockey (Start 1) K: J Brown (Start 1) D: Jets, Seahawks (Start 1) I like my team, but but Brooks is hit or miss. I'm high on Alexander because of his TD production, but he has not put up huge yards this year. And getting Dillon back helps. Thoughts? |

I would take that trade in a heartbeat.
Jax D is a solid D- plus they have a dangerous return man. Most importantly you are getting one of the top fantasy point producers in Manning. I'm not sure when his bye-week is, but I would compare bye-weeks with Manning and Brooks and make sure they don't share the same bye-week... Not to mention you have Harrison- every time Manning throws a TD to Harrison- that's 12 pts for you right there.... I'd take the trade...

Yeah, thats my thought as well. Manny has already had his bye week and Brooks is on a bye this week. Do you think its fair, and will be approved by the league?

As for the rest of the guys approving it, you never know. They may or may not vote for it. I'd waste no time, though....I don't think it will get approved by Sunday

I think I'd take the trade too. Manning has been very good this year point wise. I have both Manning and Priest on my squad and I'm still 3-4 on the season. Freakin' Daunte Culpepper

I'd take the trade. I love Alexander, but Manning is a cornerstone and Dillon has done pretty well after a slow start this season.
