Primarily I don't like the idea of trading up at all.

I really don't like the idea of trading conditional future picks.

We did it for Wellbourne, and it's biting us in the ass now.

I definately would be pissed if that happened especially if DJ was in the #9to#11 range

I'd love to have both of them guys Ware and Blackstock, I mean can you imagine of Linebacking core of Blackstock, Bell, and Ware, that would be so devastating.

As far as Derrick Johnson goes, he is just a tackler, he aint a pass rusher like any of these guys, thats what we need is another Outside Pass Rusher.

We got Jared Allen already, to have Ware and Blackstock would just be amazing.

Johnson is a more complete player who blitzes and gets in the backfield well. He may not excel as much at pash-rushing as Ware or Blackstock but he can cover too as well as play sideline to sideline.

I've said this before all these websites are comparing him to Lavar Arrington which is incorrect he plays more like the Steelers' Greats Jack Ham and Jack Lambert

Derrick Johnson is going to be a beast. Best pure linebacker in the draft for some time.

You realize to get him the Chiefs would have to give up their 15th & 46th picks to move up into the range where he might be available right? That would mean losing out on getting another top quality player in hopes that DJ doesn't turn out to be a bust. I hate basing your draft on just one player. It's a pretty risky venture....that said I'd love to see DJ in red & gold this year!

NO WE DON'T.

We need more tweeners and specialists like we need holes in the head.

We need a PLAYER, a REAL LB. Somebody that can rush the passer AND line up and cover a TE.

I would rather take a risk on a more of a sure thing than two picks that might not be. DJ is one of those special players and it would be a good risk in my opinion.

Darren Sproles won't be drafted by us he will get taken earlier then what you say and I don't think we'll give away a 2 4 and 5 for surtain I think at the most well give them 2 this year and possibly 1 next year. Also if Johnson does well this year not only will he cost us this year to sign but he might ask for an extension like T.O did or be a selfish player down the road. Also I don't think that we will take a punter in the third probably a wide reciever or a defensive player of some type.
