Latest word on McNabb vs Chiefs
... NBC's Peter King reported after Sunday night's game that Donovan McNabb was not expected to play in Philly's home game next week against the Chiefs.
Kevin Kolb is expected to get the start, and the Eagles will have a ten play package to work Michael Vick into the game. Based on that report, it's fair to expect Jeff Garcia to take most of the snaps if something happened to Kolb. Andy Reid will update the situation at his Monday morning press conference, and Florio will be updating all the news from around the league well before that. Thanks for spending your Sunday with us; we'll do it again soon. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ry/rumor-mill/ |

Kolb played pretty well today before the defense and special teams took a shit.
It sounds like they might be sans Westbrook as well. |

Well let's hope that the Iggles are sans a few other playmakers for next Sunday. The Chiefs are going to need all the help that they can get.

I imagine they will regroup during the week so things might not go so well. Vick will probably be back but I doubt that means much outside of ESPN drama.

If he comes in rusty, it won't take long for the Philly boobirds to bombard him.

I still dont think we will win. It will be close. But in typical Chiefs fashion we shall lose.

I don't even know if it'll be close, the last thing I'd want the Chiefs to face on offense is a defense that does a bunch of disguised blitzes.

We will win this game, enjoy precisely 5 minutes of joy, and then proceed to kicking ourselves in the ass over the Raider loss at home. We will analyze then over-analyze, and then hopefully drink ourselves unconscious.

There's not a more annoying fan in sports than a ****ing Eagles fan. Back in 2001 When Jim Miller was starting for the Bears and they went to play the Eagles in the playoffs, I flew up to Chicago to go to the game, used my grandma's season tickets. Also it was the last game at the old soldier field before the NSA and other govt law enforcement allowed a space ship fly into the earth's atmosphere into Chicago and land/dock in Soldier Field which is what we all now see today. On the flight up there, had to sit next to a ****ing Eagles fan, and he was without a doubt the biggest douchbag to walk the planet. And I only had to listen to him for an hour.
