I'm pretty much done with this game if I don't have people online helping me out. This is pissing me off I can't kill that damn wizard no matter what I do. grenades don't do anything. Emptying my clip doesn't do anything. WTF am I doing wrong?

i'm a 4 I have no ****ing idea what the wizard is. I've died 6 times now and can't making a****ing dent.

Yeah I died a few times fighting that wizard as well. I've killed it a couple times and still don't really understand how the fight works, I *think* he starts off with a shield (that glowing orange bubble) and once the shield is gone you start dealing decent damage to him. I just try to play cautiously, picking off the grunts one by one from a distance until it's just me and the wizard.

Yeah, I did that too but the shield just never seems to drop for me. I had it to where it was just me and him but by that time my ammo was pretty much shot. I'm just not getting how killing him works at all. I even went to youtube and I just don't see what they are doing different than me.

That is odd. I got him on the first try and I'm usually terrible at this kind of thing.

I literally took 250 rounds. I had to go and look for more rounds half way through the fight and found more grunts in a back room. Used the shotgun on them and then finished off the wiz. The shield regenerates pretty quickly so it's best to keep at him.

We probably need an official Destiny thread.

The key to beating the wizard, is you have to stay on top of him and get that shield down. First impressions of this game are good. Seems like Halo/Borderlands/Diablo/WoW. It's pretty good minus Peter Dinklage(sp?) as the robot voice. He's just not good.

Such as, drinking Dom Perignon ’53 above the temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s just as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs.
