A lot of those guys had a ton of talent but were mental invalids. The good news is Mahomes has that talent AND the brain AND the intangibles.

Pat has a lot of work to do in order to succeed, but one thing he is not is a low character person...which was 100% the case for Manziel, Jamarcus Russell, and Ryan Leaf.

Some of the time it was sandlot ball because Pat bailed on the pocket too soon, but a lot of the time it was sandlot ball because the Tech offensive line was like an open floodgate. He was running for his life many times. Curious to see how he plays with a much better supporting cast.
