Yeah, that's a fair comparison.

That's like saying that a hitter with 5 base hits in 10 plate appearances is a better hitter (or has the potential to be better, I guess you're saying) as a guy who's batted .350 for an entire season.

Hell, there were 4 QB's Sunday alone who eclipsed Smith's QBR, which was his highest of the season, IIRC.
We have been talking about the last 4-5 games...just thought I'd put his performance during that span up against the top guys on the season.

The whole "better than bad doesn't equal good" thing is what I'm trying to put into perspective of just how good Alex has been the last month or so.

I'm not sure if its searchable, but after looking over the TQBR weekly leaders over the 4-5 game span we are talking about, Alex is most definitely top 5 in the NFL during that span and he would probably be top 3.

QBR doesn't take into account strength of the opponent. Which is why it swings so much week to week. It's a problem.
