Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Going to start seeing veins in my abs soon. Gross. Might have to move to maintenance when that happens.

Im getting my garage back, so im going to start working out again soon. actually fixing it up to an exercise room. I strayed off working out for about a year, and all my muscle turned to fatness. lol

Cant wait til its done. Going to take it easy on the weights since i gain muscle stupid fast. Just need to cardio. Sux my knee's have arthritis though. they limit me.

Better than doing nothing at all, but not as good as a real strength training/cardio regimen.

Had a buddy do it. Youll get results but it is time consuming. All depends on what you're looking for.

Well, I did it. Beat my weight goal by nearly a pound, and a week early. I was envisioning 172 as my final weight, and I weighed in tonight at 171.2. I think I may just move to maintenance early.

Two outdoor soccer games, didn't play the full game either time, but got a ton of running in, anyway.
