I stumbled upon the link above today as I keep getting blocked from draft threads for abuse by ChiefsCountry (I think?). This is a social group called "The Mob" that's sole purpose is to target noobs and drive them away. They basically just try and force them out deciding who stays and who goes like a moderator. They are basically wannabe mods imo.

Here are some of the members:

1. ChiefCountry
2. Bosschief
3. Sorter
4. PGM
5. DJ's Left Nut
6. DaneMcCloud
7. HemiEd
8. Possibly SAC
9. Possibly Aussiechief

It would be in your best interest to see if you are or were on their hit list. A lot of these guys pretty much try to "run" the place. Are you older posters OK with this? Is this condoned? If so, why even invite noobs into the place? It ain't right.

All I know is that all the theories of weird mob like mentality aren't an accident around here. It's 100% true. I don't think anyone has a problem with Noob hazing including the noobs themselves.

These guys are serious assholes and the deck is stacked against a lot of people after one post. I just thought I would bring it up because I doubt most of you are aware of it.

Blackbob is a pathetic excuse for a human, but this mob thing is an embarrassment.

No shock coming from a coat-tailer like Boss, but honestly I thought better of a few of those guys.

I started lurking long before I joined. I believe it was during my tour in Korea from 2000-2001. In that time I have appreciated what many have had to offer and others not so much. Since I go through periods where I don't check in then I sometimes lose track of who's who when posters change their name and avatar. I've only been in a couple of heated exchanges and have seen some leave the board that I wish wouldn't have. Then we have also had the untimely passing of a couple of members that leave me wishing I would have met them in person. The moral of the story is that regardless of who you are you can make an impression on others in any forum. It is up to you what you want that impression to be.
