Sorry had a phone call ....... Decent interview some highlights:

How hard is to stay true to your board? Having so many picks the new format helped. Was able to reassess their board between rounds 2-3. Was able to really see who was of value on the board and not reach in the 3rd rounds since they had 3 picks. By round 5 everyones board is blown up anyway so having a chance to break really helped.

When the first few players were going off the board and all of a sudden Dorsey is there at 5 what was the thought process? First thing I did was turn to the doctor and say is he ok? Did he retire (Dorsey) and we didn't get the Memo. And then you wait and see what phone calls come in. Some calls came in but we felt this was the one we needed he was our highest rated player onthe defensive side and none of the calls could persuade us not to give up that pick.

Thoughts on BCS schools and lesser schools since chiefs picked primarly from the BCS school. They (the players) can play at a high level right away along with playing good competition. You can really get a decent evaluation from that. We were looking for players that can contribute early and that processes helps

We really grinded this year because of all the picks. Mike Tirico "So Herm have you ever had all A's on a grade card in your life" - Herm No I have never had .... Mike well congratulations on getting a A on the draft and go tell Carl that you get a gold star.

I think Morgan has a great chance of beating out Pollard at some point next season.
