Should flex scheduling start Week 1?

The Colts were on Sunday night football against the Steelers this past week. Granted, that was a close game. However, this week the Colts play the Bucs on Monday Night Football. I understand why these games were booked. No one knew Peyton Manning would be out, but is anyone excited about Colts/Bucs with no Peyton Manning?

Call it the Manning rule or whatever, but it's in the best interest of the NFL, the networks, and the fans to have the best and most intriguing games on in prime time.

Why can't they have flex scheduling all the time? The NCAA does it. Many game times aren't determined until 2 weeks prior and networks, at times, can invoke a 6-day option.

No, "just" the week 12 one vs Pittsburgh. Only the Sunday night games are flexed.
Probably gonna be a lot more black/gold in the stadium than red/gold that day.
