Now you are saying he 'mislead' people when he said he didn't want to be the media guy?

He doesn't grate on me as much as he does on some other people here. He just seems relatively new to it, and I'm sure he'll get better as he goes. He definitely needs a new pair of glasses, though.

NFL Network executive: "You know what guys, I think for our draft coverage we should probably go and get the guy who just got fired and has maybe the worst draft record in the last 4 years. What do you think?"

honestly, who gives a shit how this guy sounds? He sounds like an ex-football player/coach/scout... He isn't a presidential spokesperson.

Are biggest problem is we are too used to Carl Peterson, who was pretty good in front of the camera and in the PR game.

I know people in the Chiefs building that say Dorsey has been the complete opposite of SP. They say he shakes everyone's hand, talks to people like people and is very down to earth.
I have a college friend who works for the Packers and he said he's one of the nicest guys he's met. I think his on-camer persona is awkward because he's not comfortable in front of it.

But being in the scouting background for all of those years, the media isn't exactly his No 1 priority, and he has learned from his previous employers that you must keep your cards close to your vest, so he's going to come off as dry and boring to the media, at least during the draft season. The bottom line with this guy (or any guy) will be wins... |
