Chiefs are bad but count your blessings that you are not a Browns Fan!
Despite my pessimism for the season, I'm grateful I was not raised a Cleveland Browns fan. We are bad, but no where near as bad as the Browns. The good news is we will have a great opportunity to bring in more talent next year with the draft and the number of picks we'll have.
I see a Top 5 to Top 10 pick with at least 8 or 9 picks. We'll still have Herm and CP, but hopefully for just one more season followed by a total new regime both in the Front Office and Coaching Staff in 2009. Cleveland will still be bad. |

Five years from now the Browns fans might be saying the opposite. "I'm grateful I was not raised a Kansas City Chiefs' fan."

Actually, the Browns have a lot of the pieces in place. They just need a coach.

Is this a serious thread?
Cleveland is LOADED with young talent - Quinn, Joe Thomas, Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards, etc.... We might win a game or two more than them this year, but for the forseeable future Cleveland will have a better team than KC. |

After 1 game the Chiefs 2007 has already stooped to the level of "at least I'm not the Browns."
Don't hold your breath on that "new regime".

I know it's wishful thinking. But hopeful the fans connected with Chiefsplanet mirrors closely to the many fans in KC, and they stop being nice fans for once and start protesting for a new GM during the home games either by not attending or bringing signs that sends the message to Clark we want better! |
