Good dude - So glad he's ours and hopefully will remain a Chief. His falling to us was a true blessing, I think.
When we selected him in the 3rd, I had completely forgotten he was still on the board. I couldn't believe we nabbed him that late an was psyched as hell about the value. He couldn't have had a better mentor in Hali as well.

Off topic, but I would love to maintain Hali as a coach whenever he decides to hang his cleats up. His work ethic oozes coach material.

Seeing this makes Sutton's decision to drop Houston in coverage on the final snap piss me off even more. It's evident that the team was pumped up by Houston's accomplishments and we're keeping a keen eye on the record. Would've been nice to let him go for the record on an obvious pass play.

Seriously - 30 seconds in - they talk about Smith's ability to hit WRs. I wonder if SF would trade Kaep now. Reid could do crazy things with him.

Yeah, I was surprised at that. I'm surprised the media didn't grill Sutton over that call.

I mean, if the game were on the line and Houston dropping in coverage is what the offensive set required, I would've understood, but the game was in the bag. A score there wouldn't have affected the outcome. Let the man go for it.
