ChiefsPlanet General Managers....stop the insanity

I like to get mad, scream about draft picks that I think are stupid, early round reaches and our idiotic owner and stupid front office, just as much as the next "real" fan. But this has become ridiculous.

This is the first year under a new GM and Coach that have PROVEN track records of winning. We ARE NOT smarter than they are. Marty and Carl won a lot of games (yes, I know, not a lot of playoff games) with the Chiefs, and below is their first draft. Not a lot of good football players on the list, so chill the eff out. Really.

RD SEL # PLAYER POSITION SCHOOL
1 4 Derrick Thomas LB Alabama
2 32 Mike Elkins QB Wake Forest
3 60 Naz Worthen WR North Carolina State
4 88 Stan Petry DB Texas Christian
6 143 Robb Thomas WR Oregon State
7 171 Ron Sancho Louisiana State
8 199 Bryan Tobey Grambling State
8 220 Todd McNair RB Temple
9 227 Jack Phillips Alcorn State
10 255 Rob McGovern LB Holy Cross

Carl drafted 3 HOF players.

He drafted ****ing 11 GUYS that made a probowl.

We fired him for good reason.

His replacement gave us only one pro bowler.

That's it.

In four ****ing years. One. Just one.

And his last year he thought the team was good enough to be able to "draft for depth."

IN A ****ING 2-14 year he thought this team was good enough we could sit on our ****ing hands and draft for ****ing depth!

There is a huge........****, I don't know what......just......VOID.

Just a ****ing VOID of talent that just didn't happen for 4 years.

Compared to that I would let my 15 year old daughter ****ing marry Scott Peterson...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

That 09 draft had to be the worst in franchise history.

It was a complete abortion.

When did Houston make a pro bowl?

And **** Cassel. That's a joke and we all know it.

For the record, you're right, I'm wrong. I stand corrected.

That said I think my point still stands (and I'm a huge fan of Houston, Hudson, and big John.)
