Pinkston Released

Just heard at the end of NFL live that Todd Pinkston has been released. Should we take a flyer on him?

There was another thread on this. I thought he was worth a look, but I doubt he has enough upside to have him take up a roster spot having no experience with our offense so far...

We have a lot of newer young talent that takes an upside just on the pure potential.

Advantage, doomy(?)

I still don't think he's good enough for us to cut a quality prospect, especially considering he hasn't been with us from the beginning of training camp.

But what do I know? I'm just a simple cow posting on a message board in the middle of America.

Hey the Bills released Martin Nance. I wanted the Chiefs to take a flyer on the kid in the late rounds of the draft. Worth a look perhaps?

(Obligatory comment that he can't possibly be worse than our back-up WR's right now)

Im sure next week when te final cuts are announced there will be some veterans available to pick up as well. If David Boston gets cut by the Bucs, he might make an intriguing prospect.

We don't have any quality prospects at WR.....those backups are about on CFL/Arena level.

Boston is no longer a "prospect."
