Many people I know around here are all caught up in snowmaggedon '13. We did and are getting dumped on pretty good but still... it's getting ridiculous.

If you're dealing with the worst snowstorm in the history of mankind, i.e. if you're in the midwest and have a bunch of panicy friends... please check in here and let us know you're still alive. Maybe include an update of just how alive you are. At home safe alive...stuck at work alive... in a ditch alive... bleeding from at least 4 orifaces after the accident and the nurse has cold damn hands alive... those will work. Let me/us know how much concern we should have or if a prayer thread may be in order.

If you aren't alive please don't feel the need to respond. We'll just assume.

I'm actually surprised how well my Grand Pricks GT got through the snow today. Had no problems at all. I even stopped and helped push someone and had no issues getting up and going again. Yes... I do wear a cape on days like this.

I, alas, am not alive. I got stuck in a snow drift at about 10AM this morning. By 3PM things had become desperate and I cut off and consumed my left arm. At 5:45, I heard a banging on my window. Thinking help had arrived I immediately opened my door only to be mauled to death by a god damn Yeti.

I ruled out the curb option in 1.5 seconds after I quickly calculated the cost of a new front end. I figured (E) had to many variables to be viable. (B). Wasn't an option for the same reason that (A) & (C) were eliminated. That left (D) with the only option that also allowed me to escape unscathed and limit the damage to 1 car.

I also figured I could jump the curb between (C) and (D) if it got hairy. In the end, nary a scratch.

Made it. We only got about 6" or so. I don't know for sure because it blew like a ****ing whore.

I was really hoping for one for the ages. We need moisture so ****ing bad, and snow is great. I'm really happy for what we got, but I was hoping for a big one.
