Top free agents shunned KC in the past: now not so much.
In the past 35 years with all the hot garbage we had here as QBs, we would be at the bottom of the barrel for any top quality free agents when they considered a trade or to sign with a new team. Only Joe Montana brought interest until now.

A by-product of finally having our own QBOTF and a great one at that, players and their agents see Kansas City as a great landing spot to finally get to the promised land!

Another positive from the Mahomes effect!

So we are anticipating that a bunch of top free agents will be flocking to Kansas City? The title makes it sound like something has already changed. Which is impossible since there hasn't be a free Agency period since Mahomes exploded into the national spotlight. Nice dream though.

The quality of the franchise and the likelihood of a Superbowl are legit reasons for free agents to flock to certain teams. Assuming Mahomes stays elite, the same could happen with the Chiefs

This goes for all teams. Better team/franchise, likely better free agents.

The Pats have had success attracting and rehabilitating some WRs on cheap short prove it contracts like Randy Moss. I hope KC can do that in the future.

In addition, if you are young enough, you can play for Brady for a couple of years and then get overpaid by some other team.

That's pretty much our free agency since 2000 up until recently. Everyone was past their prime.
