ISU is one of the last teams I'd want to see in the NCAA tournament for this reason. When a team jacks that many 3s, it takes the control of the game right out of KU's hands. Of course, that quality also means they aren't likely to make a long run in the tournament too.

Withey's 4th foul was a ticky-tack blocking foul when Niang shot the ball into Withey's outreached arm. Again, it wasn't a call that would go against him at home or neutral.

Sure, Withey should have fouled out on the "5th," but only if you believe all of those fouls on him before that were actually fouls. They weren't. The refs didn't just **** up at the end of the game, they ****ed up all game.

Again, we could do this for 50 calls/non-calls throughout a game. Withey screens and over the backs that aren't called make up for any of the supposed bad calls against him. And are you really complaining about fouls called against Withey? A guy who tries to block a shot every time down the floor yet fouled out for the first time all season tonight ---in overtime? Name one other big time shot blocker in college that never got in serious foul trouble?

KU defends the perimeter better than most. There's really not much you can do if a team is hot.

No, simply pointing out that your point about Withey's 5th foul is invalid because it's built on the assumption that his previous 4 fouls were actually fouls (and they weren't).

There is nothing really to complain about. While ISU got the benefit of the calls on the whole, it wasn't egregiously so at least compared to many road games KU has encountered this year.

Much of that has to do with how effective a defender he is. The rest has to do with his home environment.
