So today is the mrs birthday and I'm lost
Got her a plant delivered last Friday for her garden and am having a dinner for her tonight with a cake but other than that I am so lost on what to get.In 22 years of marriage the ideas get a little thin,I'm fairly sure I've bought her everything with Jimmie Johnson's number on it,she has a ring for every finger,necklaces,ankle bracelet,garden things left and right,books,etc.

HELP!!!!

My wife says she doesn't want some tangible thing from you. She wants to feel special and wanted. She wants romance. You know the things she wants.

Obviously alcohol consumption is a source of contention for her. Consider giving her gift certificates for "dry" events.

I don't know if you attend services with her or not, but gift certificates for attending services would probably be cooler to her than any other Jimmy Johnson item you could possibly find.

i used to go to any one of the clothing stores in town and ask them what mrs sec had on layaway. then just pay for the damn thing and take it home to her.

worked pretty good until she started collecting credit cards and quit putting sh@t on layaway.

now i just pay all her credit card bills.

When in doubt, I give $CASH$ and I put it in a card that read, Go SHOE shopping!
