We went through Greensburg last month it was amazing just the damage you can see from the highway that is still visible. I figured we wouldn't see much but you can still tell where it hit. Did you see all the trees along the highway that were flattened about 20-30 miles east of Greensberg? Was wondering if that was another tornado. There was a whole patch of trees just stripped and flattened along the highway. Got to respect mother nature!

Just west of Salina KS about 20 miles or so IIRC.
Got a speeding ticket there once in 84 on way to DCCC, KHP-officer sits behind big mounds of asphalt on HWY 56\54? on south end of town. Last edited by Kerberos; 07-07-2008 at 08:50 AM.. |
