Trading Jared shouldn't have any impact on who we should take at 5, or any other pick for that matter.

There's lots of holes and the best player on the board at each pick is almost certain to be a player that fills a position of need.

Another thing that comes to my attention.

Say draft day, Miami doesnt draft Jake Long and instead drafts Vernon Gholston. How would you guys feel about the Chiefs trading there 2nd they get from Minnesota or 3rd to move up to the 2nd spot to get Jake Long.

Meanwhile the Rams get our 5th pick and a 2nd or 3rd. If the Chiefs really want Jake Long they they would probably do that.

Take for what its worth, It's just a thought.

Chris Long is the best player in the draft followed by Dorsey and Ellis. Then Jake Long, Gholston, and McFadden. Take the highest one on that list that is there at #5.

We dont need Jake Long that freaking bad. Minnesota spot at 17 we can get Chris Williams who isnt that much of a drop off from Long.

I think Ryan is undervalued because of his lack of a rocket arm, but he has everything else, I think he will succeed and be a very good QB.
