I beat it. How I did was I did the 10 steps, then I stared at the puzzle pic by the clock and after it got the message I went and found the ghost and got possessed. Then had my mic in and (this is the ironic part but worked for me) said "I hate you Lisa," triggering the 2nd baby giggle and my controller vibrated. So I stopped immediately and got the third giggle and phone call. Worked for me but I've seen a ton of different things. I'd definitely try to find the ghost.

Yeah, I finally got it. Had to wait for midnight. Sit there until all sound stopped. Walk 10 steps. Get laugh. Wait until haunting sounds started again. Go directly to phone and just look at it, don't stare, until two more baby laughs happen and the phone rings. Odd why that would work but it did.

That P.T. demo was pretty brilliant. Great idea for a demo/trailer. I'm pumped for the game to come out now.

Yep. Is Time Warner (RoadRunner) your ISP?

My son was unable to connect for the last couple of days. We contacted Sony support, and they told us that there's a problem currently impacting users who connect through Time Warner.

There is something screwed up in Time Warner's DNS servers. I'd think Time Warner would be able to fix a problem like that immediately. I called Time Warner and they said they are aware of the problem. But we've been unable to connect for a couple of days, so they're sure as hell not being very responsive about it.

You can temporarily circumvent the problem by changing the TCP/IP configuration on your PS1 by doing the following:
  1. Get into the TCP/IP configuration menu on your PS1.
  2. Display your current configuration. Write down the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway. (Your subnet mask is probably 255.255.255.0, and your default gateway is probably either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.)
  3. Now back out of that menu and select the menu to manually configure your TCP/IP configuration.
  4. Enter the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway that you wrote down.
  5. Enter 8.8.8.8 as your primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as your alternate (secondary) DNS server. Those are the DNS servers maintained by Google, and they don't have the problem that Time Warner's currently have.
  6. Click "next" or whatever the equivalent is.
  7. If I recall correctly, you will now be asked for an MTU setting. Go with the default.
  8. Pick whatever option it provides to save the new configuration.
  9. You're done. You should now be able to connect to the PSN network.
My son was getting pretty impatient, so I had him do this, and he is currently playing on the PSN network now.

Like I said, I would expect Time Warner to fix this pretty quickly, but if you're tired of waiting, this will get you connected. I'd wait a few days (maybe a week), and then change your configuration back to auto-config. No sense leaving a potential problem there.

Yeah, it's already been talked about being a timed exclusive. Most likely, will be like what they did with all the COD map packs. Xbox got them a couple months before PS got them.
