Noticed on a few throws where the WR would run a comeback route Manning completely missed the throw because it requires to put some drive on the ball and he completely missed it.

I think the Chiefs win if they shutdown Denver's running game.

That was the most surprising thing about that Ravens game.

The Broncos run game was absolutely dogshit. What happened to CJ Anderson? I didn't see anything remotely resembling the guy that took the league by storm down the stretch. Hillman somehow looked more explosive AND more powerful.

I really was worried about Anderson this year, especially now that Mathis is there. That team looked like it had found itself a legitimate power back that could also be a 3-down guy. I thought the Broncos had found themselves one of the rare bellcow backs that you just don't see much of these days.

Sunday he looked like Mike Cloud.

Ravens run d is awesome, that's what happened to CJ.

Our run defense is suspect, and I hope that changes.

Yup. Big test for our run D. Overall they were ok but should get better as they get guys back to full strength. Teams get gashed at times. Forsett had a 20 yard run. We just need to be stout and force some turnovers.

Obviously, it would be better to have Smith than not, but I believe this time that the front and the rush are going to **** this guy's world up.

Unlike past years, the Chiefs should be able to bring the house a few times and meet with success.

If Sutton has the balls, of course.

From PFT:

Reaction: Peyton Manning doesn’t have the arm he used to. It’s just not debatable anymore: At age 39, Manning doesn’t have the same kind of zip on his passes he once did. Although the Broncos won on Sunday, Manning struggled, completing 24 of 40 passes for 175 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception. He’s not the player he once was.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

KC should very well won this game considering location and how the teams looked offensively ... that being said, if Denver wins, this place will be flipped upside down.

I just don't think you neuter Manning like that ... using Manning out of the huddle, ever, is just a mistake. If that's their plan this year, then I agree ... get rid of him. If that was the plan all along they should have released him and let him go somewhere that let's him play QB the way he's played QB his entire career.

He's not a huddle up QB ... you don't take away the 1 thing he still has over everyone
Heard rumor that the only time TR calls plays is 2 minute drill? That seems crazy to me with his comeback wins. Seems if he did all the time maybe all those choke times might be less with more practice of doing it.
