I guess they interviewed the boys initially, but before the mom made claims about them hearing noises.
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - A child services specialist will re-interview Lisa Irwin's two older half brothers, ages 6 and 8, police said. The interview is set for Friday. The two brothers both lived inside the home on North Lister Avenue with Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin. Police said the interview is extremely non-confrontational, and they insist this is not an "interrogation." According to authorities, Deborah and Jeremy had to consent to this interview, and it is part of why it took so long to talk to the boys again after the initial questioning. Police also said they will be DNA testing the boys with a mouth swab procedure. Authorities need the information to eliminate certain DNA found on evidence collected at the home. Police said lab work done on those items are starting to come back, but will not say how much is left to examine. |

The attorney for the family now say the father came home on a break from work and had dinner at the house
and I am guessing if your kid was kidnapped, you wouldn't avoid the local media after a few weeks, you would WANT to talk and do all you could to have people help you look for her. I also have no idea why they would get paid to avoid media. KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - It has now been almost three weeks since baby Lisa was last seen, and on Monday KCTV5 asked the child's mother why she won't talk to local media. When Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley arrived back to the house on North Walrond, KCTV5's Bonyen Lee asked the parents of baby Lisa Irwin on Monday if it was true that they were getting paid to avoid local reporters. "No, not at all," said Deborah Bradley, the mother of the missing baby. When asked why they would not talk to local reporters, Deborah replied, "Because we are grieving." Baby Lisa's parents openly shared that grief with supporters during a vigil last night for the missing 11-month-old. Supporters and family alike all wore T-shirts with baby Lisa's picture that read "kidnapped" across the front. The baby's parents' local attorney, Cyndy Short, said Sunday the massive search by police and the FBI was all for show. Short said after 17 hours, she would have expected investigators to walk away with a lot more than they did, if in fact a crime had been committed there. Police said they do not want to comment on Short's accusations, saying right now they are keeping the focus on baby Lisa and following up on tips and leads. Police do say they have not had full cooperation of the parents since Oct. 6, nearly three weeks ago. |

If my child were missing, I'd do anything the police asked to help find her.
Want an interview, DNA, description of my activities? No problem. Want interviews on media? No problem, tell me what to say. Need me, call my new cell phone at this number, because I'll be out looking. I'd do about anything to bring my kid home safely. These people seemed pretty believable to me early on...now, something at least appears fishy. they sure act like they're hiding something. |

I can't get the video to work. So what time did the dad supposedly come home for dinner? 5:30 that he originally said was the last time he saw his daughter? Or later?

Kansas City isn't that big of a place.....Someone in this membership knows these people, or knows someone who does well enough to have some insight.
Lets have the dirt. Do you think they're skeezy and involved, or salt of the earth and getting a bad shake? |

Yeah, that's not a normal reaction to a missing child. Staying up nights unable to sleep from worry is normal. Grieving? Either they want her to turn up dead, or there's something they're not telling the police.

their local attorney, Cyndy Short, representing them discussed the latest developments in the case Sunday. "They are doing the best they can and holding out hope. They love this little girl. They really did. And she was a precious little girl. So they are just hanging on doing the best they can. And people are surrounding them and supporting them." |

Without disclosing too much, those that matter definitely think they are involved.

I'll respect that and not ask more.
I just can't imagine that with the fingers this community has, volume of people, spectrum of professions, lifestyles and class, that someone doesn't work with them, know them, their brothers, sisters or for all I know is the lead investigator on the case. If they were innocent and I knew them, I think I'd be inclined to say "you know what, I know these people, I vouch for them as honest and they didn't do it"......but no one has... I hope the child is alright, but with each day it just seems less likely that this is going to have a happy ending. |

My wife watches this story on Headline News everynight, so I pick up on some of it. I haven't heard the answer to a question of mine.
When the mother and her brother went out so she could buy wine, who was watching her kids, or did she leave the three alone with an 8 year old in charge? Seems like child neglect right there. Personally, I think the brother didn't just drop his sister off at home, but stayed there to drink with her. He could possibly be the man seen carrying a baby at 4am. My wife drinks wine from a box and it's pretty potent, about 10 or 12% alcohol. The mother could of gotten pretty drunk and was agitated by the baby and did something bad and had her brother dispose of the body. |
