Just spoke with John Fox. He's having a procedure on his aortic valve on Tuesday in North Carolina. He will remain there for 2 weeks and miss about a month to 6 weeks

Some of you donko boys are forgetting about this little thing called Liability. He cannot be "back at work" in any capacity. He will have to be medically cleared before he is allowed in the building as anything other than a fan.

At this point football in the Fox house should be the farthest thing from their minds. I hope he's OK.

That being said, and I mean this respectfully, I doubt the Broncos will miss a beat because they have Manning. I'm not convinced Fox, or anybody on the offensive coaching side of the ball, did much on game days since it became the Manning show and moved far too quickly for their chatter to be relevant, so the team shouldn't skip a beat on the field. And that's good news for Denver fans. So they should just leave Coach Fox alone, send their well-wishes, and let him recover.

I was cleared after a month. couldn't lift more than 20 pounds for three.

Do you have a job that is a high stress job like a HC position in the NFL? Are you basically required to work 16 to 20 hours a day? I could see these things as a cause to keep Fox away a little longer.

When you take a medical leave you can't "hang around" your work place facility until you have been medically cleared to return to work.

It is a liability/HR issue.
