Yep. I've seen my team win a Champ live, in person. I've also seen another of my teams win a Champ with a huge gathering (5,000+). Then I've also seen a few of my teams win Champs on TV.

While there's a slight edge to live and in person, all are extremely rewarding.

The last few years? The purse strings were only loosened starting last season. They made the playoffs.

This year, they have the highest run differential in the majors by far and they're leading the best division in the NL.

Dude I grew up a Cub with a dad and 2 brothers who are
Cards. I've been to old Busch and seen Lou Brock play, fuly aware of who the Birds are and respect what they have accomplished without having any major assholes on their team cough*Boston*cough.
I just don't see any reason to hate on the Cubbies. What's not to love?
