Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

EDIT forget it. Not worth all that work just to get beat all the time.

Sorry guru I was about done playing when you invited me. Game is awesome. Rank cap sucks in this. Should be 10. I had a kick ass shotgun I wanted to use but couldn't

I sure hope they open up that rank level. I heard they were going to 20 on the beta but guess not.

It does seem a little more difficult than the alpha was.

I'm forcing myself to go without any auto-aiming this time. If I am going online I have to ween myself from that.

I got a rare shotgun, too. Weird. Tons of other loot, too. My warlock has uncommon in every slot except feet and class armor. Used the vault to give weapons to my hunter so now at level 3 he has a real nice uncommon pulse rifle he's continuing to level, a nice machine gun and a level 6 sniper rifle he'll get in a couple hours. Then later if I want to do some explore missions I can give them back to the warlock.

Really loving this game. I know bungie says it's not an mmo, but it's totally an mmo. I've got the freedom to do basically whatever I want for as long as I want, and there's plenty of not-so-hidden grind with all the factions to level. And I had a ton of fun exploring last night, looking for dead ghosts and loot chests (and riding a pike, which I had no idea you could do in pve). Can't wait to dive back in today, see how I like the Hunter class, and then tomorrow try out the titan. And I haven't even tried the strike yet.

I'm glad the beta stops at 8, cause if it didn't I'd just spoil more of the game for myself. Although I have a feeling they up the level cap next week.

I wanna get to the moon! That one locked mission is just there, taunting me...

I hate the shotguns. I don't typically mind recoil but it bounces up and stays up. I'd like them a lot more of it bounced and then resettled.
