I know I'm missing out but I just can't convince myself to invest unless it's a US game.

The last three outings our window was wide open and every time a huge fail.

This year we're banged up, our big guns are gimpy or out, but still.......ugh......still I believe in this team...

They'd had a second trailing defender on Messi who would have been in the line of that shot just inside the PB, but he was gassed at that point in the game and didn't get to his spot.

You might want to get up for the next game. It's perhaps as important to our prospects as any we're actually playing in at this point.

Do we want Ghana to beat Germany so we face a down but pissed Germany.
Or do we want Germany to play out the script and cruise in against us on top of the world?

For me this is an odd state: It's like being a Chiefs and Steelers fan.

Same here. I want them both to do their best.

Hell, for me the absolute best outcome is Germany to roll Ghana like 7-1 and then find some way, any way, to blast them large. Say 2-1 or 3-1.

Hey, once we're out I'm all in Kruat, but there's nothing I'd love more than to splat that face 3 or 4 fingers up to nil...

All things being equal, we have an edge on Ghana already, and for them to beat Germany would put us at or near the top depending on what we do against Portugal. But a loss could sharpen Germany's focus and introduce us to a buzzsaw.

It's a tough call. A safe 2nd, or a tinker's chance at taking the Group.
