I'd rather watch the Chiefs play, but the bye week offers some advantages....
I don't bite my finger nails... I don't smoke nearly as many cigarettes on Sunday... My cat is safe from being thrown across the room...at least for a week... The TV is safe from any projectiles... I don't need Valium to calm my frazzled nerves...alchohol either for that matter... I can read the paper without worrying about what is said about the Chiefs... I can watch the pre-game shows without having to worry about the bad things they might say about the Chiefs... I can take my bath/shower as normal... My neighbors are safe from my profanity laced tirades screamed at the top of my lungs when the Chiefs do something bad... The bye week, very relaxing indeed...my cat thanks you....
