Time to hex the raidahs. They're 7 and 1 and secretly afraid they're about to start their "inevitable slide to mediocrity". History. Mojo. All talk about THIS YEAR being different just makes it worse for 'em. Superstition is a powerful thing and it's all on our side. We've got our mojo working and it's time for some psychological warfare. Under their year round Halloween garb, there's a lot of black panties bunching up into a wad all over Oafland today. They won't admit it, but they've got the Big Fear.

It's time to do our part. Put the big red monkey on their backs once again. Let's take away their joy, steal their thunder, pop their balloons. I hereby unleash the Sports Illustrated curse on 'em. May they drop balls all day. Throw interceptions, fumble, botch attempts, break stride. Miss field goals, have no chance at extra points. May their 'lucky' streak come to a an abrupt end. I want to ruin their weekend, ruin their holiday season. I want to watch Chucky do his nastyface all day long, throw tantrums and hissyfits, pop a bloodvessel. Let's throw salt in their beer, watch the Raiderette's uniforms fall off and give Al Davis a heart attack (if he has a heart). I want us to go to their house and kick their collective butts. I want to send them home weeping to beat their wives, kick their dogs and send their children off to a bad military school. I want to rain on the raidah parade.

Bob Dole is especially up on the Raiderette's uniforms falling off part.

Bob Dole has the bar's satellite secured for tomorrow's game, so we need not worry about the Bob Dole Living Room Curse.

Also, Bob Dole thinks we'll see the team that showed up to play the Rams come tomorrow afternoon.

I'd personally feel better if no one picked us to win, but from what I've seen over a third of the sports media types have picked us to win. So much for the no-respect curse. And that one worked so beautifully at against the Lambs.

I will, however, do my superstitious part. Months ago I threw my evile cursed black Chiefs hat into the depths of the hall closet (every time I wore it for a game they lost) and I'll wear the same combo of lucky white Gonzo jersey/lucky red hat for tomorrow's game (every time I've worn that they've won). The helmet on top of the TV also seems to be lucky - since I put it there they've won every game I've watched from home. May the streak continue!

I have learned to only wear my Alexander Jersey to the games, and never wear it when watching on TV. They lost the couple times I did that this year, but everytime I wore it to the games they won. I'm afraid to get another Jersey and try it out on Sundays, but we will see.

Man I am sure glad that I am not superstitious! Living in a state of paranoia all the time worrying about what I wear, and what I say ect. But as for those of you who do, if I ever find out that you didn't do the right thing, and the Chiefs lose I will hold you personnaly responsible. My biggest thing is NOT talking shit before the game. I may say things like DEATH TO (insert team name here), or things like CRUSH (insert name of opposing QB here), but no matter who we're playing I never predict certain victory or a certain score. That's bad karma at its worst.

I hope we win tomorrow and feel good about our chances. Other than that, I'll let the guys in red speak for me.
