I'm thinking about purchasing a handgun, and I would like to know if anyone has tried the G 31, Sig 229, or any other semi auto chambered for a cartridge larger than 9mm. I'd like something with a little more stopping power, but I wouldn't mind getting a 9 if I could find some 30 shot clips for it

I'd roll with the M16...light and easy to carry.

Of course it would be kind of hard to keep in under your seat.

I guess I could get a GLOCK 22 if I went w/ something in .40 S&W...anyone have any personal experience w/ this gun?

A guy I know has one. I don't think it is much of a difference between a .40 and a 9mm. .45 is a step up from both.

That glock 31 is a nice looking gun. I don't personally like guns with internal hammers.
