Haltime Adjustments: 2nd week in a row, no TDs allowed
Jared Allen played magnificently!
2nd week in a row that the defense has allowed no 2nd half TDs. That stat was significant the last time KC had a great defense. In 1997, the Chiefs led the NFL with 235 points allowed for the season. In that season, the defense set an NFL record for 10 straight games with no 2nd half TDs allowed. While we are only 2 games on the current streak, the D looks good with a 12 PPG avg (minus the scores given up by the O/STs). The O discovered a star today - #82. Now, somebody tell Solari that 4,000 rushing attempts up the gut on 1st down against the NFL's nastiest run D is a bad idea. Congrats, KC! BEAT the Bolts! |
