I saw the backwards compatibility announcement, but also its a short list, so can we expect really only a handful of 360 titles to be able to run on the One or will it eventually cover most titles?

Not sure on that but considering the games will have to be loaded onto the hard drive everyone is going to quickly need a HD upgrade, think I'll just keep my 360 around awhile longer.

I hate every cod game except MW 2 and Black Ops.

Hoping we can play those on Xbox One.

I'd definitely buy some of those, my kids love Star Wars and the Lego games, but they are too young (4) for anything more than E rated.

From my understanding.

All 1st party titles will be BC.

3rd party will start, bit by bit. Eventually they will get as many as they can that still have devs or licensing for them to be BC.

So crap games, defunct devs and other games will not get to be updated.

Doing this will allow them to sell a shit ton of new hard drives though. And I am sure they will be overpriced.

Ya don't say? MS kills me with their HDD practices. Sony lets you upgrade it on your own for free without killing your warranty but MS only gives you a proprietary larger one that is extremely overpriced compared to a standard HDD you can get anywhere.

EDIT

I should mention, with the recent Best Buy deal I went ahead and traded in my 360 for a One. I can justify $180 for the One. At least now I'll be able to play Tomb Raider when it comes out instead of 6 months to 1 year later.
