Where were you when the Chiefs last won a playoff game?

To keep up with the depressing self-flagellation, tell us how you've changed since the Chiefs last won a playoff game?

In late 1993, I had:

1. Only recently moved to Denver from Texas. (Been here 12 years now)

2. Had been married for two years. (Now pushing 15 years)

3. Had never owned a home. (Second home - been here for a decade now)

4. Had paid off my Fiero the year before (Had the Fiero forever, so only bought one other car since)

5. Was a newbie at a consulting firm (Became the senior employee, turned down a partnership, have had my own company for seven years now)

6. Owned a Mac Classic computer, which was rather cutting-edge (My laptop has a bit more power and a significantly larger screen.)

7. Weighed 170. (Now at 200.)

I was a 250-pound woman named Delinda who wore cheap blue eyeshadow and thrift store sack dresses while dancing for nickles on streetcorners. It was a hard life, but at least the Chiefs were winning playoff games then.

5. Was mowing lawns (Working at a school as a para-professional and farming now)

6. Owned the regular Nintendo, which was rather cutting-edge (Playstation 2 is what I currently own, along with several computer games.)

7. Weighed 130. (Now at 240.)

In the interim, the University has a new name [Truman State] and has had cable to every room for over a decade.

I was 11 years old watching the game with my mom who absolutely loved Keith Cash, especially when he spiked the ball into the face of the Buddy Ryan poster. It was a lifetime ago. Now I'm teaching students 8 years older than I was at the time of the game. Good fucking god we are the Cubs of the NFL.

Truman State Alum here Baby Lee...the only thing more depressing than Chief football is Bulldog Football.
