There are spruce beetles now? You guys aren't going to have any forests left in 10 years, are you?

Fortunately those conifers are fast growers. It sucks losing those old growth forests, but I really do think a heavy fire blasting all those trees out of there and opening the canopy for new growth is what's needed.

I hate going out there now and seeing nothing but dead trees on the mountains.
