Chatter increases that Pioli could be back in Kansas City

What would really piss me off is if they act like they didn't even know there was a doubt about Pioli staying, like it's a no brainer.

I'm done as a fan. You can slice it however you want you stupid ****er. What's the lure that's keeping me here? Winning culture? Dynamic QB? Owner that's willing to spend on talent? GM that's shown he'll make necessary changes? Innovative HC? I know you're too simple to understand that this is far more than a football board to a lot of people.

Schefter is not the guy you want to look to for Chiefs news. He usually won't be the first guy to say anything about KC.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
On Ferentz. So, he can walk. RT @ScottDochterman: There is no buyout for Kirk, FWIW. It's not in the contract, never was considered. |

Good morning Chiefs Nation. Let's go out secure that #1 overall draft pick, let the coaching and GM personnel moves settle and then work toward building a positive 2013 campaign. Also, welcome to the Silly Season. I've read the Cole Tweet and it lacks confidence & contradicts what he told Danny Parkins this week. The NFLTalk Report is a re-hash of Don Banks article from earlier this week…that’s what these rumbles are. These guys are trying to polish a turd.
Has anyone wondered why Mort, King, LaCanfora and Shefter as well as Glazer have stayed away from these reports about Pioli coming back? Come on guys, follow the money and read the tea leaves. These reports and stories are designed to make you read, share and that drives up their stock, ad revenue, clicks, impressions, unique users. Look at how the media is treating Andy Reid. They use words like "if" and "possible" when the foregone conclusion is he is out. All of this Ferentz BS comes from Pioli. It's an old branch of his tree and some media guys go there on autopilot just as they have in past. These reports are based in conjecture and lack substance. To them being 50% right is a moral win. No report has been decisive. These guys are hedging their bets so they can be 50% accurate. So Keep Calm and Keep #FirePioli On

Actually, I'm pretty sure Pioli has already been "removed" from duties and will officially be fired sooner rather than later.
He was given four years to, quote Pioli "win Championships." In four years, the culmination of his GM duties, the 2012 Chiefs now stand as one of the historically worst teams in the history of the NFL. They have set records for incompentence. (e.g. - last weeks loss alone) His hand picked QB's are the worst in the league, statistically and actual on-the-field performance wise. His hand picked coaching staff is the worst in the league. The team is now on the verge of having the first pick in the draft. One wouldn't think it possible to regress after the horrific 2008 season, but yet...here we are. Actually worse than what Herm and Carl got shit canned for. I'd bet the farm that there is going to be a Stalinesque purge soon. |

Schefter hasn't come out with rumors about Pioli staying but he did mention the GMs most in danger of losing their job and Pioli's name was not on that list.

Hiring a guy who was 5-7 in the worst conference in college football and used a fullback as his featured RB is exactly what this franchise needs to turn shit around.
